Title Your Photos: Titling images helps viewers see your images in a specific or particular way. It also adds some context to your images by trying to get an understanding of intent, from the viewer, or maybe even a reaction. It also gives us a little insight about you, the photographer, please add your initials to the end of your title.
Here's an example: If your photo title is Winter Wonderland, then the name of your file will be: winter-wonderland_kd.jpg
E-Mail Submission: When you have completed the photo challenge please attach your photos to an E-Mail addressed to [email protected]. If your photos have a large file size, please submit an E-Mail for each challenge.
Challenge 1
Winter Wonderland:
A winter landscape photo challenge can be a wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty and tranquility of winter scenery. You can focus on capturing the essence of winter landscapes, including snow-covered scenes, frozen lakes, frosty trees, and other elements that define the winter season. Don’t forget to explore a variety of winter landscapes, from urban settings to rural areas, to showcase the diversity of winter scenery. There are also plenty of close-up, sunrise and sunset opportunities. Each have their own challenges and amazing effects.
Show us your image in Colour or Black and White.
Challenge 2
Your Choice:
Since it has been a long time since most of us have met up and I KNOW everyone has still been taking photos, show us what you have been up to! Taken any trips with exotic animal photos or amazing architecture? Have a portrait that just speaks to you? Have you been playing with post production and have created an interesting scene, abstract, or other “non-Photography” photo? Show us what your creative genius has been up to!
Show us one to two in Colour or Black and White.
12 Tips and Tricks for Better Smartphone Photos: For those who would like to do more with your cell/Smartphone, this video is long (26 minutes), but it is done by a professional photographer and he covers a lot of information, from adding apps/programs to give you more control of your camera to composition tips. He explains some of the things that those with an “eye” do without thinking, so if you want to improve your shots, this is well worth the time!
