2020 Membership and Canoe School Registration

Hello everyone! We hope that you are all healthy and keeping a positive outlook on the days ahead. We are reaching out to let you know that our team has been working on getting the canoe season back on track and allow for camera member meetings in the clubhouse.

In keeping with Nova Scotia Health Authority’s guidelines, we now have a COVID-19 Policy and Protocol in place. Members can read the document on our website. The health and safety of our members and our community is our top priority, so we are asking for your assistance in complying with our new COVID-19 Policy and Protocols. Let’s face it, it’s going to be a bit different this year.

We’re kicking off the season with our registration night, on Tuesday June 23rd from 6:30PM to 8:00PM, at the clubhouse, 137 West Street in Milton. Becoming a member now includes a yearly Canoe Share Program. Come out to learn more. Also, membership gets you into the camera club, which runs all year long. Membership is $25 for the year.

Our three exceptional canoe instructors will base this year’s canoe school on Paddle Canada’s Lakewater Skills program. Canoe school starts Tuesday June 30th from 6:30PM to 8:00PM and runs weekly until the last week in August. The fee is $40. We’re looking forward to seeing you on registration night!
